Our guests are engineers and developers. Does that work?
It is the situation the repertoire is built for. Everything is handed over: the guests shuffle, choose and hold. There is no stage distance, no lighting and no prop case — nothing that would let an analytical audience file it under stagecraft and stop paying attention.
How far in advance should we book?
Three to six months is comfortable. For Rotterdam the travel is short enough that late enquiries are often still workable — you will have an answer inside a day.
Is the show performed in English?
The show runs entirely in English, and a good part of it needs no words — guests shuffle, choose and hold the props themselves. In a room split across several nationalities that is the difference between everyone following and half the room drifting.

Close up asks for nothing — no power, no mic, no stage, no table. A place for a coat will do. A stage set needs a radio microphone and about three by two metres of clear floor.
How many guests can he reach in one evening?
In two to three hours that is eighty to a hundred and fifty guests. For larger numbers you either extend the time or concentrate on where people actually cluster.
Does he claim to have psychic abilities?
No. It is offered as craft, not as a claim of anything more. That is the only version that survives a sceptical room — and it loses nothing in the process.
